Sometimes we find interesting aspects to our grape grape-growing or winemaking that we would like to share. Often we make decisions about our wines that seem to run against common practice. Here are a few thoughts behind the scenes.

1. Pinot Grigio Genetics and Other Matters – Pinot Grigio is in the same family as Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir, but it is genetically unstable.

2. Corks – Why we chose to use the Nomacork synthetic cork.

3. 500 ML Bottle – Our choice for bottle size is the 500 ML bottle, when traditionally wine has come in 750 ML bottles or 376 ML for “half” bottles.
